12/24/2022 0 Comments Margarita houseWe had an awesome time exploring South Carolina and the animal life of the ocean on our stay. We loved this home so much that one of the families that stayed there is bring her parents, siblings, and cousins for their family vacation next year! All of them were extremely kind and welcoming. There were servicemen there during our stay working on upgrades and repairs. The property was clean and well maintained. We spent EVERY night out there, even the stormy ones since there’s coverage underneath. Our most FAVORITE spot, by far, were the porches!! Seriously we could have sat there FOREVER. During the day, the 100 step walk to the beach and the pool were a relief from the hot days. While at the house, I have to say other than meals and the one rainy day we had, we spent most of our time outdoors. The kids most favorite place was the pool table room (of course)! Beautiful views, seating for everyone, and lots of memories made. Our most favorite place in the home was the kitchen/dining room area. We had children ages 15 -2 and there were places for the 2 year old to nap while the older ones could play and not have to worry about being ‘quiet’. The home had plenty of space for everyone in our party. Perfect for all the food you have for 22 people! Also, there are 3 refrigerators in this home. Upon our check-in, there were solar eclipse glasses for everyone in the home!! Little details like that make the stay very welcoming. We lucked out and were there during the TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE on 8/21/17. The owner has literally thought of everything when staying in this home. There are two raised decks to catch the sun, enjoy the cool evening or if you are lucky, watch an exciting lightening show from a passing storm.įinally, the grocery is a 5 minute walk (also quite important for our hungry kids).įor our family vacation, things could not have been better.Ĭasa Margarita is an amazing home to stay in. The dinner table, seating 15 of us at one time, looks out on the ocean.įor just relaxing there is a large deck by the pool and a covered out of the sun area next to the pool. There is also a bathroom near pool (important).įor cooking there is a professional kitchen with three refrigerators, two stoves, two microwaves and two dishwashers and two gas grills on the first level….actually quite amazing and very functional for a family our size. Casa Margarita fit well into everyone’s vacation wishes and plans.įor kids there was the campy décor in the rooms, the pool, the baby pool, the hot tub and, of course, the beach…at the end of the deck walkway.įor adults, 10 bedrooms, each with a bathroom so adults could have some privacy from kids. Our family (core group: 8 adults and 5 kids ranging from 12 -2 part-time add-ons 2 adults and 2 adults and 3 kids ranging from 16-12) is pretty big and varied in interests and ages.
